Live-in Couple - Tipperary - Cook/Housekeeper and Estate Manager/Groundsman

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, qualified, professional Cook/Housekeeper and Estate/Manager/Groundsman to look after this large estate comprising of stud farm and extensive gardens.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally a minimum of three years' experience in property or land maintenance and management, from a large estate, hotel grounds, stud farm or high-end horticultural background.  With at least two years in the same employment.
• Excellent References from each position held.
• Fluent English.
• Confident with tools and equipment - with relevant safety certification.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Must be an animal lover.
• Ideally a minimum of three years' experience in a similar Housekeeping role from a background in hotels, large estates, etc.    With at least two years in the same employment and excellent references from each position held.
• Experience of working with antiques and delicate materials would be preferable.
• Must be a dog and horse lover.

DUTIES:

• Fulltime Hours - 40/48 Hour week
• Mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning and basic landscaping.
• Fencing, repair work, irrigation and general maintenance.
• Looking after animals.
• Estate upkeep.
• Housekeeping to the highest standards including laundry and ironing, care of antiques, flower arranging,
• Assisting with dinner parties and entertaining.
• Shopping and errands.
• Pet care.
• Cooking simple, healthy family meals when the family are in residence.

Approx. salary and benefits:

• Separate three bedroomed accommodation.
• Use of estate car.
• Top salary - negotiable and dependent on experience.
