LIVE-IN COUPLE POSITION – Cheshire, England – TOP SALARY

Job Description

We are looking for a professional, experienced live-in couple to manage an estate in Cheshire comprising an 8-bedroom family home, three guest cottages, swimming pool, tennis court, formal gardens and woodland.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally three years’ similar experience as a live-in couple with the same employer.
• Excellent References from each position held.
• Fluent English.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Ideally a trade qualification.
• Ideally a culinary qualification.
• A love of animals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

GROUNDS/MAINTENANCE

• Responsible for the maintenance of the buildings, gardens and grounds.
• Specific duties include plumbing, DIY, servicing machinery, repairs, lawn care, planting, weeding, pruning, hedge trimming, etc.
• Occasional Driving.
• Property security and overseeing contractors.
• Driveway maintenance as well as gateways and access areas.

HOUSEKEEPER/COOK

• General Housekeeping duties to the highest standards.
• Laundry, ironing, and care of luxury and delicate garments.
• Cooking for the family when they visit - preparing breakfast, a light lunch and a 2-course dinner.
• Catering for up to twenty people.
• Managing household budgets and accounts.
• Wardrobe organisation and packing/unpacking for travel.
• Shopping and running errands.
• Taking care of the animals.
